The topic of 'accessibility' was the theme at the recent Ladies That UX meeting at the Engine Shed

Bristol. The two speakers used very different approaches to champion accessibility of their respective websites due to organisational culture and their sectors. "The Regulator is your friend", one speaker said as she explained how she uses the FCA's Consumer Duty to cajole her colleagues into making accessibility improvements that benefit vulnerable consumers. Sometimes it's easy to forget that those users with accessibility needs do have money to spend and changes made to improve accessibility benefit all users.
